What SafetyWire is

Study material for the FAA mechanic written tests, built from public FAA documents. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the FAA. The FAA does not approve study courses, ours included. SafetyWire does not count toward the experience or school rules in 14 CFR Part 65 or Part 147.

Founder pre-order

• The founder pre-order is $49 for the General (AMG) course.
• Launch is expected Q1 2027.
• Your $49 price is locked. You will not pay more for the General course.
• Refunds: you can get a full refund any time before launch, and for 30 days after launch. No questions asked. Email hello@safetywire.org from the address you used at checkout.

Pass guarantee

If you do all of these and don't pass, we refund the full price you paid:

1. Finish the course.
2. Score 85% or higher on two full practice exams.
3. Take the FAA General written test within 60 days of your second passing practice exam.

If you don't pass, send us your FAA test report. We will refund the full price.

Accuracy

We cite FAA sources, and a licensed A&P/IA checks the content. We can still make mistakes, and the FAA changes its documents. Corrections are logged on the errata page. Always confirm your requirements with your FSDO.

Accounts

Phase 1 has no accounts. When accounts arrive, you are responsible for keeping your login private.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
